We walked a short way in to the Pukenui Forest, near where the kiwi were released on the 17th March. We stopped for our lunch and then explored the stream. One of the students was clever enough to catch a freshwater crayfish!
Building up physical stamina for these types of activities would certainly benefit some of the Pod 7 children!
